The boats we charter for the north cruises are comfortable Egyptian boats equipped for diving: generator, compressor, tanks, weights (but no weight belts, don't forget yours!)...

The tanks we generally use are 12L aluminium tanks with a single valve DIN / International. It is advisable to have an alternate air source (octopus). 15L steel tanks are available for hire (30€ a week)

All the divers, without exception, must have SMB, torch or strobe, and a pocket reflective device ( plastic pocket mirror or a device that reflects the sun and can be carried in the BCD pocket).
A diving and environmental fee of 20€ for the 6 days is payable on board at the beginning of the cruise.

During the cruise, several dives are organised (final day 2 dives and sometimes on the first day if the cruise starts late): 16 dives is the average per week. This includes night dives. Please bring a torch for night dives.
You must have a diving computer.

A French speaking guide will be on board.

For Longitude 34 Cruise a maximum of 3 N1 are accepted on board with at least 15 sea dives and a good buoyancy control. They must be guided at a charge of 5€ a dive.
Equipment rental ( regulator with octopus, BCD, suit, belt, mask, fins, snorkel, computer) is possible with prior notice, giving size (subject to availability)
5€ per item per day for: wetsuit, BCD, regulator, mask-snorkel-fins, torch, computer, 15L tank
1€ per item per day for: SMB and belt
20€ per day for complete equipment: suit, BCD, regulator, mask-snorkel-fins, belt.

Nitrox is available on board at a cost of 50€ ( 12 dives with 12L tanks) or 60€ ( 12 dives with 15L tanks). If you are not Nitrox certified, Nitrox courses are available during the cruise: 150 € including the certification and 12 dives
Padi Advanced Open Water courses are also offered.

You must bring your CMAS or PADI certifications, logbook and recent medical statement (1 year)

Beach towels are not provided but bathrobes and small towels are provided.
All inclusive drinks (20€) proposes water, tea, coffee, sodas and fruit juices. Beer is also available (2.5€ per bottle).

Traditionally in Egypt a tip should be given to the crew at the end of the week. Around 20€ per guest.
This tip is not compulsory, the amount is purely a guide. However you will realise that our crews deserve it.

If you have room left in your luggage you can bring aperitives for the end of the day or something to please the dive guide (dry sausage, cheese, nice bottle of wine or chocolate...)
